Honouring the Queen of Soul: Aretha Franklin's powerful, distinctive gospel-honed vocal style has influenced countless singers across multi-generations. Accompanied by a killer band Nina pays tribute to Aretha in what will be a 'no holds barred' celebration of Aretha!

'The moment my Mother dropped the needle on an Aretha Franklin album and “Spanish Harlem” began to play, I had a soul shaking, earth moving awakening! It was the moment I knew I wanted to be a singer. As a 5 year old, I was unaware of the impact this amazing voice would have on me and as it turned out, on the world.'

Aretha’s voice was truly out of this world and a benchmark for vocalists all over the world. No genre was off limits! Jazz, Gospel, Soul, Rock, Pop… even Operatic Arias were no match for this formidable woman and her endless range. With the recent news of Aretha’s passing, it felt like the right thing to honour a woman who has touched the hearts of so many people.
