Nina Ferro meets Joe Chindamo

As individuals, Nina Ferro and Joe Chindamo have routinely been showered with every superlative imaginable to describe their respective stellar careers. Through their vast musical endeavours, recognised internationally, both belong to a coterie of musicians whose very names are synonymous with great Australian achievement. Their collaborative CD, Tender is the Night (2001), was met with critical and public acclaim, and although a follow-up was canvassed, busy schedules intervened. Hence, this performance at Melbourne’s new JazzLab, is at once a nostalgic revisiting (15 years having elapsed since the two performed together!) and a promise of things to come, from the magical combination that is Nina and Joe.
